Strong Relationships Make For Better Classes
Our class culture is important. We line up at the beginning of every class and greet each other by name. At the end of class, we thank each other for being partners. This interaction not only builds connection but increases our value to each other.
We get in very close contact with our partners during every class. You will get to know your classmates better during our core curriculum, which includes:
- Grappling
- Striking
- Weapons defense
- Up-right wrestling
Not only that, but we encourage each other along the way. From pad holding to conversations on and off the mat, you will build relationships with those in class with you.

Answering Your Questions
Having questions when trying something new is a natural reaction. Below, we have answered a few questions we commonly get.
How Often Should I Attend Classes?
To cycle through the curriculum, you should attend class 2-3 times per week. Our classes are split up, so on Monday and Tuesday, we introduce a new topic. On Wednesday and Thursday, we further our learning and build upon the previous two days. Saturday classes are a summary of everything we have learned, how to apply it correctly, and further building on that knowledge. Attending two to three days a week helps you properly cycle through the curriculum and increase your knowledge to be eligible for the belt test.
