Head Instructor

David Bergman

martial arts instructor

Looking back at my motivation to start martial arts I realize that I needed to answer the question  “do I have what it takes”. I instinctively knew that I needed to be challenged physically and mentally. I saw in the martial arts a way to deliver that challenge. It was the same question “do I have what it takes” that led me to make 3 trips to Tel-Aviv and devote 190 hours of training time to become the first certified Krav Maga Israel instructor on the East Coast.

Over my decade of experience as an instructor, I have trained hundreds of students from age 3 to 63 and have a deep love for encouraging people in the pursuit of the same question: “do I have what it takes”. I always view myself as a beginner, I haven’t “made it” I have not arrived. I am always learning growing and seeking challenging experiences. I have a lot of wisdom and I am excited to share it with you.
