Muay Thai Class

Are you looking for a Muay Thai class near you? If so, you’re in luck! Held on Fridays, this is a supplemental class to our regular Krav Maga classes here at Katalyst Krav Maga. As a committed self-defense practitioner, it is very important to get beyond the basics and master the nuances of the 4 modalities of self-defense (striking, upright grappling, horizontal grappling, and weapons). Coach Dan, our Muay Thai Coach, has 30 years of experience and will bring your striking up to the next level.
What Is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai is a martial art that originated in Thailand. It is known as the “Art of Eight Limbs” because it uses all eight limbs of the body to attack and defend. Muay Thai is a great way to get in shape, learn self-defense, and have fun.
This martial art is unique as it combines boxing, elbow strikes, knee strikes, kicks, and clinch fighting. It is the most directly applicable sport striking system to self-defense with its combination of very close-range fighting, boxing, and far-range kicks. This will be a great supplemental class to our program!
