Krav Maga & Boxing
Krav Maga is a self-defense system that combines techniques from boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and other martial arts. It is designed to be effective in real-world situations, where attackers (or multiple attackers) may use weapons.
As training progresses, we add in elbows, knees, kicks, and more unconventional striking, such as groin strikes and headbutts. We want students to be proficient with basic striking mechanics before we move into unconventional striking in Krav Maga.
Yes, we do full contact sparring as training progress, striking improves, and students can effectively defend themselves. We expect students to spar at higher intensity levels with students of the same level of training.
